Hearing-aid users who do not like putting the entire instrument within their ear canal and who don’t like to put them behind the ear either now have another option. They can put them in the crest of their outer ear. Siemens Hearing Instruments’ new Vibe hearing aid sits within the ear but outside the ear canal, with a tiny tube extending into the ear canal to deliver the sound.
